The highlight of the afternoon was the flypast by a Spitfire of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF). The following photographs of the Spitfire were taken by Andrew Bradbury and a soundtrack of one of the three passes made by the aircraft can be listened to here.

P7350 is the oldest airworthy Spitfire in the world and the only Spitfire still flying today to have actually fought in the Battle of Britain. Repaired bullet holes can still be seen in her port wing, following action whilst serving with 603 Squadron at Hornchurch. She is painted as 'XT-L' which was the aircraft of Squadron Leader B G 'Stapme' Stapleton, whose operational experiences are reported here.
